Summer Heat

Whew, been a while eh? Things have been pretty busy this month, with Chris' parents visiting in early June, and my mom, sister and nephew visiting afterwards. While it was a bit chaotic, it was still a lot of fun catching up with everyone again. Thankfully I had pretty much all of June off from work to enjoy it and help out with the new baby. Did I mention it's been like 90+ deg lately? I'm ROASTING here!!

Everyone's safely home now though, and things are calming down at our place. Josie has been fantastic and is growing super quick. Jaidon had a blast with everyone, especially getting to hang out with his big cousin Chad.

I'm also proud to say that Jaidon joined the local youth lacrosse league, and while at first he was real hesitant, he had a great time! Ya should have seem him snag the 30yd outlet pass and take it to the goal. Brought a wee tear to me eye it did... I didn't have the camera with me on Monday, but I'll snap a few next week and post 'em up. :-)

Jaidon and I did a bit of shopping on Saturday, loading him up on lax gear and some climbing stuff. On Sunday we kidnapped Chris' brother Brian and took off for the mountains. As this was J's first time climbing, I thought he might be nervous. But no! He strapped in and flew up the rock. I even had to tell him to slow do so I could catch up the belay!

For some reason there's only one picture on my phone, but at least we have that. Look at the little bagger ham it up for the camera.



I do apologize for the slow updates. Now that I'm in front of a computer on a regular basis again I promise I'll get back on it. :-)
